Point Reyes National Seashore Association
Stewards of the Seashore since 1964
Soon after the park was founded, the Point Reyes National Seashore Association (PRNSA) was formed to help preserve and enhance the park’s extraordinary natural, cultural and recreational resources. As the primary nonprofit cooperating association of the park, PRNSA helps raise funds to support critical resource preservation projects and manage a series of environmental education programs that seek to engage the publicin the mission of the park. Through our work we continue to leave a legacy of stewardship for our magnificent seashore. PRNSA’s goals are to:
- Restore, preserve, and protect species, habitats and historic sites in the park
- Foster opportunities for healthy recreation, contemplation and learning
- Cultivate the next generation of environmental stewards
- Deepen the public’s understanding and appreciation of the park
- Maintain and improve the park’s 150 miles of trailsContact PRNSA: www.ptreyes.org

BayWood Artists
The BayWood Artists, a non-profit organization of well known professional artists, is dedicated to helping preserve for future generations the lands they love, the open spaces of the greater Bay Area. Through exhibits and the sale of paintings, the artists hope to focus attention on, and raise funds and awareness for, those lands and the organizations committed to their preservation. This highly respected group of artists is celebrating its own 15th Anniversary along with the 50th Anniversary of Point Reyes National Seashore.
The BayWood Artists and the Point Reyes National Seashore Association are joining forces to mount two major art exhibits to celebrate the Park and these two Anniversaries (see above). The artists have hiked and travelled all over the Park for nearly a year painting over 100 paintings to capture all its beautiful and dramatic, and sometimes remote, sites.
